Per Dicey's obituary, Ephraim was age 80 in 1904 when his wife Dicey died. She is buried at Beeler Knob per her obituary. Assume he is buried with her. Also family history has him buried at a Knob. No markers. See also Buehler Knob and Knob Hill on findagrave. The correct spelling is Boehler. Fredoline Boehler married Matilda Bates Stephenson daughter of Charles Bates and Christian Sketoe. Christian daughter of Wm Sketoe and Jane Odom.

Ephraim Lott assumed to be a son of Aaron Lott and Nancy Sketoe of Muhl. and Daviess Co., KY. Nancy Sketoe daughter of Wm Sketoe and Jane Odom. Ephraim Lott married Decey Sketoe on 27 Apr. 1846 in Muhl. Co., KY Ephraim was on the tax lists of Muhl. Co. in 1848 and 1850. In 1854 the area became McLean Co. Seven children were alive in 1910. This census gives Ephraim's birth as June 1822. Ephraim's farm was in Rumsey. Dicey died at their home on Cypress Creek.

Aaron Lott married Nancy Sketoe, daughter of William Sketoe and Jane Odom on Nov. 29, 1808 in Muhl. Co. William Sketoe was from Edgecombe Co. NC and was in the Rev. War. His will is in Muhl. Co.. A Joseph Sketoe was also in Muhl. and Logan Co., KY. There was also a NC Joseph in the Rev War - they may be brothers.

Aaron Lott a poor person exempt from paying county levy in the future. Also Nov 25 1833

1836 Feb 19 Muhl Co. Wm B Sketoe sold Aaron Lott both of Muhl Co. for $5 fifty acres on Cypress Ck. Wm Sketoe is Aaron's wife's nephew.

1838 Jan 10 Muhl. Co. Aron Lott sold to Wm Kinchloe 50 acres on which Aaron Lott was then living. Lott bought this land on Cypress Ck of Jesse Everly and hold Everly's bond for a general warrantee deed. Lott got $71.75 for the land with the understanding that if he repaid Kinchloe by Christmans this deed was voided. Kincheloe was a neighbor and his minister. Kincheloe preformed marriages for several of this Lott line. Kincheloe married Wm Worthington's daughter and lived just south of Worthington's
8 acre property that was called Island. Wm's home site was later Island Station. Aaron lived near Kincheloe per the census. Worthington and Everly are buried on their properties.

It appears John Lott got these 50 acres from Aaron Lott and sold them to his first cousin Edwin Davis on Jan 12 1850.
