Eugene was born in Elizabeth and grew up in Linden, until he enlisted in the Marines 30 June 1967.
On his arrival in Vietnam 4 December 1967, Eugene was assigned to Mike Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division. Eugene was traveling in a truck convoy on Highway QL-9 that was ambushed by hostile forces, 1 kilometer southwest of Ca Lu Airfield. Eugene died as a result of hostile rifle fire gunshot wounds to the back.
Survived by his mother, Johnnie M Paul and a sister; Sarah A Law of 1211 E Henry St, Linden, NJ.
His father; Fred Law was deceased.
