Havre--Leona R Olson, 57, formerly of Medicine Lake, died at her home Sunday after a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug 13, 1933, in Medicine Lake to John and Dina Bupree LaJimodiere.
She married Glen Shanks in 1950. He preceded her in death June 14, 1968. She married Kenneth Olson, June 21, 1975, in Chinook. He preceded her in death on Sep 1, 1987.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Shanks of Havre and Terry Shanks of St Louis, MO; sisters, Mary Ellen Hettman of Havre, Marion Wells of Havre, and Mae McLaughlin of Ulm; a brother, Leonard LaJimodiere of Marquette, MI; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and a sister, Patricia Abele.
