MRS. EDWARD RIGGIN
Mrs. Hazel N. Riggin, 76, of Lawsonia, died on Friday, December 10th in the Tawes Nursing Home after a long illness. Her husband, Edward Riggin died in 1956.

Born in Crisfield, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Alice Lawson Nelson. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist a Church at Lawsonia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Doris L. Hudson, Crisfield, and Mrs. Kenneth Smith, Baltimore; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Austin Williams, Marion; three brothers, Melvin C. and Stewart Nelson, Crisfield, and Herman Nelson, Chester, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 13th at 2 p.m. in the Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Verne Hauld officiated. Interment was in Asbury Church Cemetery.
