Polish Statesman. He served as the 1st Prime Minister of the Duchy of Warsaw briefly from October 5,1807 until December 14, 1807. The son of a nobleman, he studied law and was elected provincial deputy to the Sejm (parliament) in 1764. In this capacity he was one of the main authors of the Constitution of May 3, 1791. He died at the age of 73.
