Pauline Bangerter Jensen, age 95, passed away on August 20, 2016 in her West Valley City home.

Born August 3, 1921 in Granger to William Henry and Isabel Bawden Bangerter, the fourth of eleven children.

Married William Andrus Jensen of Huntsville on October 3, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Prior to her marriage, she enjoyed life on the family farm and loved horses. She was a lifelong, avid, sports fan, rooting for the New York Yankees, "Murderer's Row" in her younger years.

Graduated from Cyprus High School in 1939. Pauline attended comptometer school and worked in the LDS Presiding Bishops Office for four and a half years. During this time, she often commented that she wouldn't dare go into Salt Lake City without her hat and gloves.

She accompanied her husband on many employment adventures that took them to Stibnite, Idaho; Emmett, Idaho; and eventually Granger. Together, they served many missions: Arequipa, Peru; Chicago Temple, Jordan River Temple, Temple Square in Salt Lake City, and Family History Center at the Utah State Prison.

Pauline was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities across the various organizations of the Church, where she made and fostered many lifelong friendships. Her home and dinner table were always open to extended family, friends, neighbors, and visitors.

She is survived by her nine children, Steven (Linda), Craig (Roberta), Marlo (Ginger), Becky Fuller (Brent), Lynette Moore (Russell), Judith Miller (Robert), John (Rebecca), Ramona Pace (Ross), and Deone Mears (Mark); fifty-two grandchildren, 127 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Marion Lindsay and Naomi Christofferson. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, and three sisters.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Constitution Ward Building (Granger Stake Center), 2850 West 3835 South, West Valley City. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Interment will directly follow the services at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville.
