He was born in Kalamazoo county Aug 8, 1878. In 1907 he married Grace Fisk and they lived in Solon Township 32 years. They sold their farm and went to Grand Rapids for a few years, then came back to the home neighborhood and bought a home in Pierson. Mr. Camp was a member of the Pierson village council and took an active interest in the affairs of the town. He had a host of friends in this area.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; by a foster son, Dale Dines of Grand Rapids; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lily Corey and Mrs. Nellie Parrot, both of Battle Creek.
Rev Samoel F. Stout will conduct funeral services at Walshes chapel in Cedar Springs Friday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will be in Solon Cemetery.
