DIED.
WIRICK---At Mt. Pleasant on the 7th day of November 1891, Mr. Joseph Wirick, in the sixty-fourth year of his age.
Mr. Wirick was born in Richland county, Ohio, Oct. 11, 1828. He came to Iowa in Oct. 1849, and settled on the farm he owned at his death, in 1856. Here he lived from that time until a few weeks ago he was taken to Mt. Pleasant for treatment. April 1st 1852, he was married to Miss Sarah Myers. Fifteen children were born to them, thirteen of whom survive. They were, however, widely scattered, at least one being in foreign lands, and were not all able to gather together to pay the last tribute of respect to their father's memory. He was a kind father, an honest and upright neighbor, and though not a member of any church, lived a life in conformity with the principles of truth and justice. His funeral which was largely attended, was held at Mr. Zion, Rev. Townsend officiating.
