Obituary
Hazel Andrews Smith, 85 passed away April 23, 2012. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, July 17, 1926 to the late M. Luther Andrews and Laura Ann Harbin. She attended Grammar and Junior High schools in Atlanta and attended High school in Tucker, GA, graduating in 1945. She was employed by the Verterans Administration as a secretary and worked there until she married, after which she did part time work except for about 14 years when she was secretary and assistant secretary at the First United Methodist Church in Tucker. She was a Charter Member of the Wesley Fellowship Class at Tucker First. She volunteered at the Methodist Childrens Home for approximately six years. She is survived by her beloved Husband of 64 years, John (Jack) E. Smith, Son, John A. Smith and wife Emily, Daughter, Laura Ann Odom and Husband Ron, Sister Marie Pattillo and Husband David. Also, several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Tucker First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the Gathering Room. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Church Music Program or the United Methodist Children's Home of the North Georgia Conference.
