Author. Swedish writer who made his debut in 1895 with "Förvillelser" (Confusions), a novel that was considered "immoral" and caused great controversy at the time. Afterwards critics called him "ungdomens förförare" ("The Seducer of Youth"). Soderberg's other notable books include "Doktor Glas" (1905), "Den allvarsamma leken" (1912) and "Jesus Barabbas" (1928). Some of his works have been adapted for theatre and film.
