John L. Weaver of Belfast, died in St. Francis Hospital, Monday morning (June 12, 1950) at nine o'clock after a long illness.


Mr. Weaver was born in Jacksonville, May 30, 1887. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helga Weaver; a son, John C. Weaver of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Milheisen of New York City, Mrs. Pheobe Geiselman of Muncie, Ind., Mrs. Elizabeth Bowen and Mrs. Minnie Elwell, both of Peoria, Ill. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Weaver of Chicago, Ill., and Blair Weaver of Calif. Mr. Weaver was a member of the American Legion of Belfast. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for John L. Weaver will be held at the Heenan Funeral Home Thursday afternoon (June 15, 1950) at two o'clock. Rev. Robert A. Delorme, Pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
