This is my Aunt Betty.... Her and her husband (Uncle Rocky) were very good friends with my parents. I also considered them my God-Parents. They were always there, watching and taking great care of us. I love and miss them so very much.
I wanted to make sure she was never forgotton. My Aunt Betty the most kind, loving, gentle and caring soul I have ever met. It was honor to call her my Aunt/God-mother.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Elizabeth Paradiso, 89, formerly of New Brighton, a homemaker, died Monday, in St. Elizabeth Ann's Health Care and Rehabilitation, Stapleton.
Born in New Brighton, Mrs. Paradiso remained a resident there until 2012. For health reasons, she entered the long-term care and rehabilitation facility.
According to her family, Mrs. Paradiso was a good cook and enjoyed walking.
Her husband, Rocco, died in 1992.
She is survived by her son Joseph, one grandson and one great granddaughter.
Arrangements, which include cremation, are being handled by Scamardella Funeral Home, West Brighton.
