Naomi Mae “Nonie” Sipes, age 82, of Hancock, MD, died on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her home.

Born November 13, 1932 in Red House, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Pearl Adelia Martin Harvey.

She was a member of Hancock Grace Church of the Nazarene in Hancock, MD. She attended the Mt. Zion School in Mt. Zion, MD. Nonie was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Jean Dunn and Darlene Kay Landis, both of Berkeley Springs, five sisters, Jessie Swadley of Needmore, PA, Ruthie Divel of Clear Spring, MD, Scharlett Sauter of Warfordsburg, PA, Wilma Leach and Janie Smith, both of Hancock, MD, three brothers, Roger Harvey, Martin Harvey and Arcie Harvey, all of Hancock, MD, two grandchildren, Samantha DeAnn Poling and her husband Cliff of Augusta, WV and James Robert Yost and his wife Carrie of Great Cacapon, WV, two step grandsons, Bill Dunn of Downingtown, PA and Jacob Dunn of Hagerstown, MD, three great grandchildren, Tyler Yost and Garrett Yost, both of Great Cacapon, WV and Jacob Williams of Augusta, WV, one great great granddaughter, Kaely Dunn of Downingtown, PA and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Silver and three brothers, Bobbie Harvey, William Harvey and Freddie Harvey.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Hancock Church of God, 7528 Millstone Road, Hancock, MD with Pastor Willis G. Swope, Pastor Delmas Bard and Pastor B. Terry Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Fulton County, PA.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
