NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Allgood Boisseau passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Montgomery, Ala, to Miles Clayton and Willie Randall Fox Allgood; had two brothers, Miles C Jr (Bobby), and William David (Billy). While growing up, she divided her time between Mentone, Ala., and Washington, DC, where her father served in Congress. She graduated from University of Alabama in 1942. During WWII, she served four years with the Red Cross in military hospitals. She married Peter Clemenceau Boisseau, of Roanoke, Va., on Nov. 9, 1947. She is survived by children, Suzanne Boisseau, Mary Alice Lorick, Peter Clemenceau Boisseau, Jr, and Miles Alexander Boisseau. Mary was blessed with four grandchildren and her puppy, Pearl. She was a member of Comte de Grasse Chapter of the NSDAR, the Retired Officers Wives Club of Fort Eustis and a charter member of St. George's Episcopal Church. Memorial Service at St. George's Episcopal Church with visitation and socializing in the church hall after the service.
