Born in Paswegan, Sask., Mr. Gunness came to Calgary in 1921 and was employed with Canada Malting Company for the past 22 years. He served overseas with the 95th battery in The Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Alberta No. 1 branch.
Services at Jacques funeral home Monday at 1:15 p.m., Rev. George Whitford officiating. Interment, Field of Honor, Burnsland Cemetery.
