Actor. Born in Finland, he was educated at The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm from 1939 to 1942. He was then connected to the Dramatic Theatre until 1943, and later from 1966 to 1971. He also acted frequently at the theatres in Norrköping and Linköping. He participated in more than 70 productions on film and television, among them "Rid i natt" (1942), "Hon dansade en sommar" (1951), "491" (1964) and "Jag - en kvinna" (1965). He also worked with director Ingmar Bergman in "Woyzeck" (1966) and "Riten" (1969).
