Father was born August 3, 1919 in Albano, Rome, Italy, the son of Aurelio Bugliosi and Ida [Bongianni] Bugliosi of Albano. He joined the Oblates in June 1936 and professed first vows in 1937. After graduating from Collegio Murialdo in Albano in 1940, he received a J.C.B. in Canon Law from the Angelicum in Rome in 1944. He was ordained on July, 11, 1943, in San Carlo in Catinari Church in Rome, Italy. His early assignments include Principal of St. Luigi Gonzaga Apostolic School in Albano (1944-1948) and Religious Superior of both the Oblate Novitiate in Albano and the Oblate Seminary in Assisi (1948-1951.) (He returned to Rome from 1966-1968 when appointed as Provincial of the Italian Province.) Father came to the United States in 1951 and became a U.S. citizen in 1956. Between 1952 and 1960, he taught in several Oblate schools in the United States. From 1960-1966 and 1968-1977, he served as associate pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Wilmington, where he also taught at Padua Academy and served as Religious Superior of the Oblate community (1988-1994), and as Catholic chaplain of the Wilmington V A Medical Center from (1977-1980.) In 2005, father transferred to the De Sales Centre in Childs, Md. where he lived until his death.

Second Viewing: Monday, May 7, from 4-7 pm, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N. DuPont Street, Wilmington, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the viewing at 7:30 pm. Interment: At the request of Father Bugliosi and his family, his body will be laid to rest in the family burial ground outside of Rome, Italy.
