Mrs. Barber has been a member of the Home for six months (since September 1920) and is so contented and wishes to stay permanently. (March 1921 "Our Record").


She was listed in the NYS 1925 Census, 80 years of age, born in Ireland, and she was also listed in the 1928 Buffalo City Directory. She was listed in the 1930 Federal Census as 85 years of age, and a widow, having immigrated to the USA in 1864. Was a resident of the Home for the Friendless,(now known as the Bristol Home), 1500 Main Street, Buffalo, NY.

Mrs. Barber was the daughter of Thomas Reed and Maria Whitford. She was a widow and was 86 years of age. Cause of death: Cerebral Hemorrhage. She died at her late residence, The Home for the Friendless, 1500 Main St, Buffalo.
