The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Baptist Union Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills by the Rev. Perry Irby. Burial was in Rockfish Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ross is survived by six sons, John Ross Jr. of Norfolk, Va., Ernest Ross of Raeford, Daniel Ross of Newark, N.J., Lennon Ross of Rahway, N.J., Bobby Ross of Fayetteville and Nathaniel Ross of Arlington, Texas; four daughters, Rena Ross of Washington, D.C., Gloria Williams and Vern McLaughlin, both of Fayetteville, and Sheila Ross of Woodbridge, Va.; two brothers, Hurley McNeil Jr. of Hope Mills and Willie McNeill of Paterson, N.J.; two sisters, Mary Williams of Fayetteville and Martha Rage of Washington; 33 grandchildren; and 45 great- grandchildren.
The family received friends Saturday, May 31, 2003 from 7 to 8 at H.M. Colvin Funeral Home.
