Elizabeth, Jane, Susannah, Mary, Hannah (our g-g-grandmother, who married Weston Jones Everett), Louisa, William J., Joseph, Thomas Travis.
His father was Joseph Crockett b. 1756 in Greene Cty, NC. And his father was David "the elder" Crockett.
Joseph had a brother John Crockett who was the father of "the" David Crockett of the Alamo fame.
The other Crocketts in this cemetery are related to "our" Davy Crockett.
11/2015:
On Ancestry.com, his will has been released and on his list of belongings are 6 slaves. Their names were Taman age 42, Perlina age 12, Bill age 7, Jane age 9, Alexander age 4, and Merica age 14. They were sold February 6, 1854 in Liberty, MO. Per his will, his wife was going to keep Perlina but she was sold. But yet on 1860 slave schedule shows she owned an 18 year old female and a 1 month old boy. It would be interesting to see what happened to these people.
