Myrtle is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and John Myers of Piqua; two step sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Sandy Yancey of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Donald and Brenda Yancey, Texas; two step daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Tom Casey, Hamilton and Vickie and Howard Poffenbarger, Somerville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Ann Byrge, Lafollette, Tenn. and Eugene Byrge, Africa; two sisters, Eva Ochs, Texas and Alice Puckett, LaGrange, Ky.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil Byrge, Charles Byrge, Cecil Byrge and Buford Byrge; and four sisters, Gladys Smith, Shirley Lischke, Annabelle Clark, and Jeanette Manning.
Myrtle attended Jacksboro High School, Tenn. She was a member of Freedom Life Ministries. Myrtle was a homemaker and owner of Memory Lane Antiques.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua with the Rev. Kevin Nelson and Bishop Robert Hickman co-officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
