Angus McKay
Rev. R.J. Burton, M.B.E., will officiate at funeral services in Jacques funeral home Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. for Angus McKay, 66, of 3917 Centre St. N., who died Sunday morning in Calgary. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Mr. McKay was born in Embro, Ont., and had moved to Calgary in 1903. He was employed as checker with the C.P.R. freight department until retiring in 1946. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Hillhurst No. 46. He is survived by his wife, Katherine of Victoria; two sons, Gordon of Victoria and Murray of Calgary; one daughter, Mrs. J. Allan of Edmonton; two brothers, R.J. McKay of Calgary and John of Lomond. One son, Stuart, was killed in Italy while servicing with the Seaforth Highlanders.
