Amanda Kerns Denure, wife of Joseph Denure, died at her home near Woodford on Saturday last after an illness of about three years caused from cancer.
She was born in New York; she was 63 years of age and had spent the greater part of her life in the vicinity in which she died.
She leaves her husband and four children. They are Pearl, George, John and Joe. On daughter died about a year ago.
The funeral was held on Tuesday and the remains brought here for burial.
