Painter. In 1899 won the "Scholarship Europe", and in the next year moved to Rome to improve their knowledge. At the Venice Biennale of 1901 earned a "Commendation Award" and in the exhibition in Saint Louis, United States, 1904, he won a Bronze Medal. He returned to Buenos Aires in 1905 and exhibited his works at the Salon Costa and, after joining the local artistic environment, co-founded the group "Nexus", together with their friends the painters Fernando Fader and Pio Collivadino, participating in their exhibitions. His definitive consecration was during the "Centennial Exhibition," where his works were a success and was awarded the gold medal. Some time later he settled in the province of Entre Rios, where he painted his most famous works, the series "Gauchos" which was exhibited in Buenos Aires in 1928 and then successfully toured Spain, Germany, England, France and the United States.
