AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Karen Rogers of Limber Twig Lane entered into rest Monday, December 12, 2005 at the residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Mark Pierson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Rogers was a native of Painesville, Ohio. She was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church. She was employed by the Richmond County Board of Education Transportation Department for over 14 years. Survivors are her husband, Carl A. Rogers; one daughter, Tracy M. (Wallace III) Andrews; one son, Casey D. (LaJune Archie) Rogers, both of Augusta; seven grandchildren, Autum, Eric, Wallace IV, Nadia, LaShaniqua, Ariana and Kyler; three sisters, Genevieve Merritt, Marion Woods, Denise Merritt, both of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, John Merritt, Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
