Valentine Louis Accord was the son of Zur and Virginia Martha Luster Acord. He married Dora Dee Art (by 1849). He married Mary Amelia Petersen (about 1873). He married Sarah Georgina Frost, who is listed on Valentine's death certificate.He was the father of two sons, Art Acord,and Samuel V. Acord

CASTLE DALE PIONEER DIES

PROVO, April 26- Valentine Louis Acord, 89, a pioneer of Castle Dale, died here yesterday.

Mr. Acord was born in Indiana. He came to Provo two months ago for medical treatment. He is survived by two sons, Art Acord, motion picture actor, of Los Angeles, Cal., and Samuel V. Acord of Castlegate, and several daughters.

The body is in charge of the Berg mortuary and will be sent to Castle Dale for funeral services and burial.
