From Highway 22 (also known as Maple Street) in Adamsville, go about a mile and a half north until you reach Winding Ridge Road. It is a paved road that heads in a northwesterly direction. Turn left onto Winding Ridge Road and go two and a half miles. Then on the left will be a small, one-lane dirt/gravel road with a small gate at the entrance. The gate to the road to the cemetery is locked (because it is now a logging road), so you will need to walk (or take a motor bike) one mile up this road to get to the tombstones. The brush on either side of the gate is too thick to get a 3- or 4-wheeler through.
After going 1 mile down the road, the Woolverton Cemetery is on the left about 20 feet from the gravel road. It only has a few stones, and most of them are fallen over. In 2009 several of the monuments were reinforced with concrete, and the few markers that were only partially intact were made into round concrete blank markers with no inscriptions or partial stones remaining on those particular ones.
