She was born December 17, 1914, in Lovell, Wyoming, daughter of William Zenos and Sarah Ann Ames Warren.
On February 1, 1936, she was married to Wayne Newton Hunt in Ogden, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Willard Fay Goddard on February 24, 1962, in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on the June 11, 1977. Willard died on July 1, 1984.
She had worked at the Ogden Arsenal, Naval Base and Hill Air Force Base, retiring June 30, 1970, with 26 years of Civil Service.
She had lived most of her life in Ogden and Clearfield. She was a member of the Clearfield 4th Ward. She had held many positions in the ward, Secretary and President of the Young Women's, Secretary and Counselor of the Relief Society and Visiting Teacher. She also had various assignments of typing including data processing, typing names into the computer for temple genealogy work for the dead. She served an 18 month LDS Mission with her husband Willard in the Ventura, California mission.
She was member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Wigwam Camp. She enjoyed many crafts such as ceramics, and crocheting and genealogy research and temple work. In her early years she was an avid outdoor enthusiast. She loved to camp, hunt, fish and all outdoor activities.
Surviving are her two step-sons, Stephen Val (Leslie) Goddard, of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Willard Lee (Janetta) Goddard of St. George. One brother, William Ames Warren, Ogden, Utah and 7 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Goddard, her parents, William and Sarah Warren, two sisters, Lilly Whitaker Littlefield and Ila Goff Burt.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services.
