Nancy was a member of Parker United Methodist Church in Limestone County, Alabama. She later attended Epworth Methodist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She had a great love for genealogy, crochet, cross stitch, working crossword puzzles, and shopping the outlet malls in The Great Smoky Mountains.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Frank Sexton and Sarah "Southard" Sexton and her husband Harold Oliver. Nancy married later in life and never had children. Nancy had three half-brothers Malcolm Sexton, Frank Joe Sexton, and Tillman Sexton all of whom preceded Nancy in death.
Nancy leaves behind a Step-Daughter Susan Oliver living in Virginia. Three First Cousins on her mother's "Southard" side of her family. Nile E. Southard (Dana), John L. Southard (Glenda), and Janice Southard Goodwin (Charles).
