(March 16, 1931 - November 29, 2017Lando – Mr. James Lucius “JayBird” Thomas, 86, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be announced by Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Lando, SC, Mr. Thomas was a son of the late Charles Monroe Thomas and Emma Kee Thomas. He worked for many years at the Eureka Plant in Chester, SC.

Surviving are his brother, Michael Thomas of Rock Hill; a sister, Shirley Dawkins of Richburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the family.
