Mrs. Niblett was born on December 10, 1919, and grew up in Quitman County, Georgia. After marrying Emory Y. Greene, she moved to Macon County and then to Houston County where she retired as a Diabetic Clerk from Perry Hospital. After her retirement, she volunteered for hospice. Mrs. Niblett was a charter member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. She loved reading the newspapers everyday, always with high spirits, and enjoyed the life of gardening, fishing, sewing, cooking family dinners, and singing gospel songs. Family meant so much to her as she enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters, and often spent her vacation at the Rooks family reunions. There was lots of family fun, laughing, telling stories, and lots of good food. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Emory Y. Greene and Grady Niblett; and her siblings, Timothy Rooks, Louise Stark, and Charles Rooks.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
