Delores grew up in Roy and at the age of 16 graduated from Weber High.
On September 5, 1944 Delores married Frederick E. Gibson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She has lived in Roy, Taylor, Pleasant View, Preston, ID, and Clinton, UT. She was employed by Navel Supply Depot and Seashore Sheet Metal Co.
Mom had many talents and hobbies. She was a skilled seamstress and made everything from matching shirts for the family to tailored suits and coats. She took great pride in her yard and flowers. She loved to read, knit, crochet, embroider, quilt, and arrange flowers. She played the electric guitar and liked to water ski. She volunteered on the Bookmobile and at the elementary school in Preston.
Every year she made many fruitcakes to give to family and friends for Christmas. She served in the Primary, Relief Society, and worked with the Cub Scouts. Mom and Dad loved to take off in their motor home and go fishing.
Delores will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Lloydene (Paul) Berglund, Lynne Archibald, and son, Rick (Jennette) Gibson, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sisters, Sharon (Neil) Ballif, and Bonnie (Clark) Draayer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son, Robb Gibson.
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
