Bio

I was born and raised in Owego, New York, which is a small town in Tioga County, New York. I first started researching my family history in January of 2021 when I was only 15 years old. When I've first started researching my family history, I only used ancestry.com but in the last couple of years I've started to researching the "old fashioned way" I've been able to do Personal interviews with many close and distant relatives, visits and send many letters to courthouses, libraries, archives and cemeteries; microfilm of the census and microfilm of newspapers have been very useful tools along my journey. I'm very thankful to the many other family historians I've met along the way, such as Lorraine Shaver, Linda Decker, and Anne Stevens. I'm thankful for their many hours of researching, of finding documents and providing photos to myself which have been a great contribution to my own research.

I've built a lot of information using my genealogy software majority of that information I've chosen to keep off of public trees as I would much rather distant relatives contact myself so that I can provide the best information.

I have much information on the surnames Manzer, Brown, Rissmiller, Jeffery, Shaver, Hutchinson, Saddlemire, Sullivan, Martin, Nelson, Ward, Howell, Hills, Hunt, Frost and McKelvey
