Bio

In my opinion regarding George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, it's extremely burdensome to locate a specific name on a flat marker, crypt or niche at an immense place without a main portal having a simple way to conduct a search of plot numbers. I know GWMP is very time-consuming to find a record there without asking the office. I am unaware if their search process is free or not. If you are a local volunteer of that cemetery, would you kindly please go through my memorial list to complete the grave photo requests and more importantly inputting their accurate plot numbers with the GPS coordinates because I'm intending to declutter this list? Take your time and I appreciate your cooperation! I put the link on the homepage under my ID number.

*If you're looking to label a memorial as a veteran, a small gray icon will be placed next to the main name denoting their veteran status.

For the contributors who aren't fully aware of the terminology for resting places:
An interment refers to a burial especially in a cemetery
An entombment refers to a mausoleum crypt
An inurnment refers to place an urn in a grave or tomb

I've restarted due to privacy concerns. I'm no longer accepting messages after several people had been bombarding me. One insolent lady had threatened to report me for creating a memorial of her as I was unaware of the fact that the media misinformed about her. That's why I'm back to square one thanks a lot to her nasty attitude. It's sad that we live in a world with fake news, propaganda, and psyops. RIP unbiased journalism! If you have something negative to say to me, it will be completely ignored. I'm tired of dealing with rude and negative people. Nothing is perfect in this world.

FAG is a worldwide volunteer project. It's my favorite hobby that I enjoy doing. The coolest part about this site is changing the options of the memorial index, which IMHO feels like owning a time machine. Scrolling through names and images of the departed feels like entering a spiritual portal.

With today's benefit of translators and technology, my tip for making memorials of newcomers is to browse up the keywords of the individual and terminologies of resting places in another language. I simply recommend utilizing the google translator.

I'm so swamped updating countless memorials and it's a time-consuming process for me. I appreciate all of your FAG contributions!

I know that some cemeteries do have websites and I would rarely see a burial search option on there. I understand that there are cemeteries that charge people burial searches but I totally refute that concept. I am also aware that cemeteries have various policies for outsiders to acknowledge and I completely respect that.

Gravestalking or doxxing is NOT my motive but my main purpose of using this site is to assist those trying to find their loved ones.

Cemeteries must have people that clean gravestones so they would be more legible and less sloppy

If you aren't aware why a memorial disabled its flowers, that's either potentially due to controversy or reports of negative condolences. If flowers are inaccessible on the memorial, then that's more likely on controversial figures. Sometimes contributors may request the admins to disable the flowers without specifying a simple reason but it's always more likely to prevent negative commentaries. Immortalizing controversial figures are NOT my motive!

Whenever I leave a photo request on a memorial, would you kindly PLEASE update the accurate grave plot location in the plot box? I usually indicate what the plot location is just by looking at the small font of the letters and numbers inscribed on the headstone. It may be difficult to find but sometimes the plot number is engraved and sometimes it's not. I understand that cemeteries have variations but please don't forget to update the plot. Alternatively, there's burial coordinates to update as well. Whenever you're at the gravesite, paste the coordinates of the current location, which is next to where you click on PIN TO MAP. It's easy as pie. Very appreciated!

UPDATE: Since the beginning of 2022, FAG had tweaked the function of photo requesting memorials. I honestly think that 3 months worth of patience for creating an image request kind of sounds unfair but I completely understand that it's usually when markers haven't been installed or updated.
