Bio

A self-proclaimed genealogist for 30 years.
It's my hobby and passion. Hopefully when I retire I will get to focus all my time on genealogy but until then, it's my weekend or fit-it-in-when-I-can activity.

I photograph and transcribe the cemeteries in Hants County and the majority of what I transcribe are not members of my family or close friends. The intention is to assist in preserving the memory and history of those laid to rest in Hants County. I will never to overstep my boundaries and should you prefer a memorial of your loved one not be published on Find a Grave's website please contact me at [email protected] and I will remove the memorial. If you would like transfer of the memorial to you/your family I am happy to do that as well.

I only transcribe what is on a headstone. In some cases, especially with old stones the information may differ from birth, death certificates or family information. Again, I transcribe what is on the stone. Any additional information has been provided by others. If you have information to add please feel free to do so. Also, at times the headstones are difficult to read either due to age or material used. If you see an inaccuracy due to transcription error please do not hesitate to contact me and I will ensure the change is made on the memorial page.

All headstone photos have been captured by me and you are free to use without permission.

My hope is that everything I add will be used for centuries to come as future generations explore their genealogy.
