Chef de Police for the Parish of St Saviour I was asked to research the Waterloo Veterans buried at St Saviours. This has lead to a wider project to try and show all who are buired here - it may take some time....

We have started in Graveyard 2, from around the 1800-present

Some of Graveyard 1, the oldest have been covered as historic interest, but we will move there next

Finally we will more to the more modern graves 1900 onwards in Graveyard 3

Graves are listed as 2.03.41 = Yard 2, Row 3 Grave 41

Yard 1. is around the Church
.i to the South
.ii to the East
.iii to the West
.iv to the North
.v the area to the church walls

Yard 2. is the larger yard to the North (1850-current)
Row
.01 is long the South Wall (Grave 01 East end)
.02 is along the East Wall (Grave 01 South end)
.03 is along the North Wall Grave 01 West End)
.04-.36 run from the West wall towards the road
(the cross path runs between rows .16 and .17)
.05a and .06b are short rows between .32 and .33

All Grave numbers for .04-.46 start with 01 nearest the church

Yard 3 is the largest area to the East of Yard 2
Row
. 01 is along the East Wall with rows numbered as they move West
Grave 01 is the grave nearest the South Wall in each row

Yard 3 splits into Yard 3a and 3b at the cross path The rows continue in number sequence but
3a graves start at 01 from the East West path and follow to the north wall
3b graves start at 01 from the South wall to the path
