I grew up in Macon, Georgia and moved to New Mexico in 1982. I have lived in New Mexico since that time. The primary branches of my family tree are Ussery and Whitfield, all located, for the most part, in Georgia. I have been collecting information on my family for about 20 years, mostly from on-line sources because I have not had the opportunity to visit Georgia just for genealogy purposes. I am willing to share information that I have found, particularly with those who are researching the same trees.
