I live in Seaton Carew, near Hartlepool and have written various books on the history of the surrounding areas including past crime and mining disasters. I have a keen interest in Hartlepool owned and built ships and continue to research that subject and anything else of interest, especially relating to the Victorian era. In researching both my books and my own family history I have been trawling churchyards for years and took photos wherever possible.
