My GreatGrandfather went by the name Sam/Samuel A o Jones,the earliest record we have for him is when he married my GGrandmother,Josie P Baucum, in Lake City,Columbia ,Fla. in 1901. His family is a mystery we are trying to solve.He was a horseman,did electrical work in the late 1800s,repaired bicycles and clocks,Locksmith,also worked as a gunsmith,had a brother,known as J C (Sometimes Joseph Cullen, sometimes John C)Jones,born abt 1861. Family surnames also include,Jones,Baucom,Lovitt/Lovett,Crawford,Watson,Ballentine,Creekmore,,Graham,Ross,Roux,Laird/Leard.
Y-Dna of his grandson shows the surnames,Joiner,Joyner,Tedder.
