Bio

Some people like the stories, some people like the facts. I like really both! I was a professional historical researcher (now retired) and although it says I've only been on FAG for seven years, I have been doing my genealogy work for more than 40. I rarely post anything without paper documentation to verify the work and I try to include as much census, marriage, death or military service records so that others who come after can find their person or validate connections. (Not because I love to type., LOL!)

I hope you will remember to include as much information as you can not everyone has access to the National Archives, Library of Congress, local archives, etc. etc. so please make their search a little easier and give them a chance to validate their info by including yours.
Just copy and paste.

TRANSFERS:
I'm always willing to transfer a memorial to someone who is a direct relative. Please follow the Find-A-Grave policy for transfers and include your connection. Please also feel free to contact me to update, add or question any of the info I've posted.

All the current policies on transfers can be found at "How can I request to manage a relative's memorial" under the "Help" link on the bottom of the pages of the website.

Relationships under the current policy are child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships.

Happy searching!
