Bio

I have been researching my family history for over 30 years. Recently, I have been able to devote more energy to try and find more accurate documentation and information regarding my family. I have found Find a Grave to have consistently accurate documentation, especially when gravestones are included. I realize some inscriptions are off slightly, but for the most part they are a good source of information. I became a contributor because many of my family were not listed on the site, and I wanted to memorialize them. Others had limited information regarding their family links. I try to update them if I have the necessary information. No edits will be requested, or honored, unless I have factual documentation of their accuracy.
I also enjoy photographing and searching cemeteries for elusive headstones. Many older headstones are deteriorating or have been destroyed over time. These memories need to be preserved for future generations and, in many instances, photographs are the only way. If I have a photo on a site, feel free to use it for personal records or family trees. Any sale or commercial use of these photos without permission is prohibited.
If you have documentation that there is an error on a memorial, please let me know. The goal is preserving an accurate family history.
