Just to remind all of you who have blocked reply to messages: I cannot answer your questions if your reply to messages is blocked...sorry.

PLEASE NOTE: I have been condemned for creating a memorial for a loved one before the person condemning me had a chance to add it. My question is how long should I wait? A week, a year, five years? How do I know if you will EVER create the memorial? Please don't condemn people for creating memorials for your loved ones. I add memorials to honor your loved ones not to create numbers. I add memorials as I see them.

I'll be glad to transfer your relative or acquaintance to you if they are not my relative. However, I would appreciate a request through the Suggest a correction...function on the memorial page. In it, write something like ... Please transfer because ....... whatever your reason. That makes it so much easier for me because the system generates and sends an email to me with direct links to the memorial, making it SO much easier for me to handle your request. I will not respond otherwise. I AM A VOLUNTEER! RUDENESS WILL BE IGNORED!! AND BLOCKED WHEN NECESSARY!

You are welcome to use my pics if you so desire. I'm honored when you use my photos. No need to ask, you have my blessings! Thank you to everyone who has been willing to complete a transfer for me! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!! Thank you to everyone that has added updates and links to memorials. I generally take your word for corrections, until I find errors in your corrections.

Bios under flower section are inappropriate and will be treated as such. All you have to do is simply ask. I will add them where they belong. I strive for the memorials I manage to be the very best and most complete memorials on FindaGrave.

I believe 'Find A Grave' is the next best thing to the real cemeteries when people are too far away to travel. Names would not be recorded into Find a Grave database, to be found, if not for the time and efforts of ALL contributors. It is the best way to give back to our ancestors, and others who are looking for family...Everyone deserves to be remembered, no matter how long ago they died. It is not about numbers, it is about people who came before. Their names should not be forgotten. It is about caring...Life is a gift, with deep roots...Someday, everyone will be an ancestor.
I think family should stay with family. The important thing is for the memorial to be managed and cared for by someone who truly loves the person that the memorial represents.

Yes, I add the names of people who have been cremated. Why? They have a soul. For many there will never be a tombstone to represent these people after death. It will be as if they never existed. There will be no trodding through a cemetery in hopes of finding that nonexistent stone to capture a picture, so I honor their memory in hopes that someone someday can find their memory if they are trying. I want remembrance of their existence!
