Bio
I was born in Ohio and moved out to California in 1970 and have lived here ever since.
I started genealogy about 12 years ago and have enjoyed "finding my roots." I am a member of the California, Ohio and Indiana Genealogy Societies, and local chapters of the DAR and Mayflower Societies. I have found that lineage society membership is a great way to personalize genealogy and get my family interested in our history.
I love taking genealogy classes and am finally starting to get organized...Whenever I travel I find myself visiting cemeteries and local history societies and libraries. I would encourage anyone who loves genealogy to make his or her way to the Mormon Family History Library in Salt Lake City and Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, IN.
I just joined "Find a Grave", and hope I will be able to make a contribution.

In the 1900's, a later generation of the SHARP family moved to Ashtabula County from Indiana, and the CHARTERS family came to Ashtabula County from Pennsylvania.
INDIANA SURNAME LIST
