He was listed as the father on my grandmothers birth certificate, her Name was Lillian Josephine Dougherty ( married name Schmidt) her birth date was july 17 1905 and was born in brooklyn NY. Her mothers name at the time was Johana Weber (Ambrose married name) born in 1881 and emigrated from Germany.
