Bio

I have been working on the family tree based on my parent's ancestry of Weseloh and Muchow, both with origins in Germany. Along with a German cousin and my brother in Texas, we have built the family tree to over 5000 members on www.myheritage.com. The oldest relatives are from the 1600's.

Online research has made relatives , both living and dead, easier to track. My daughter and I have spent time at the U.S.Census facility doing the microfilm search, taking hours to do what now takes minutes. My brother has been to the Schessell area in Germany and read original church documents. He and I have also made a trip to the Langworthy/Scotch Grove, Jones County area of Iowa. Standing in the Scotch Grove Cemetery with a local relative pointing out the family row, we pointed out that he had stopped one too soon - the adopted daughter's father's grave was next in line.
