Update March 2023

Well it is a new year. I sure appreciate everyone's contributions. Last year my mom, sister and I took a 2 weeks trip to Scotland and Ireland. We tried to go to ancestral locations for clans MacGregor (Dad's) and Nesbitt (Mom's). We had a lot of fun and want to go again. I did a video with 2 beautiful hairy coos.

My ancestry goals that are listed below are still pretty much the same.

I am still trying to locate the girl child my grandmother, Gladys Marie Franck had before she married my grandfather. The child would have born at the Milford Industrial Home in Milford, Nebraska. I have narrowed the birth time frame 1927-1928. Gladys attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 1928. She was a member of the Catholic Society.

I am still trying to get my Hill and the Jeffries lines out of the US, but to no avail. DNA testing with Ancestry and LivingDNA has been done, but no close matches that I didn't already know about. GedMatch has not worked either.

I still have not been to good about getting out to take pictures, but I have it on my summer plans.

I am trying to pare down my family tree on ancestry.com to direct family links and ones that can be proved through my efforts. It is nice to think that I am related to royalty, but I want it to be proven links, not speculation on the work of someone else and their possible errors.

I was able to prove the Gragg line (Dad's side) enough to allow my family to join the American Clan Gregor Society. I finally know what tartan I can use. I have also found an excellent family search link for the Graggs - www.gregg-graggancestry.webs.com which I am hoping will be fruitful.

I hope all have a wonderful 2023.
