Bio

Genealogy has been a hobby of mine since 1977 after my Grandfather died.
He had once told me a famous movie star was his cousin. They had lived in the same home for a short time during the Great Depression, but I never knew "how" they were related.
This started my journey into the world of Genealogy.
It is in the spirit of volunteerism and sharing research that I share these photos with you. Perhaps my research will connect a link with our families. Perhaps in my research I have uncovered that one missing link that you have been looking for.

The majority of the photos I have submitted are directly related to my family, or someone associated by marriage somewhere in time. Some have been requested by distant cousins who live far away, and are associated with their family.

Recently I have also added photos of older headstones that are fading with time. Some are weathered or vandalized to the point they can hardly be read anymore. By including these photos, at least there will be a recording of what existed at one time in the early 21st century.
Some photos fall into this category. The only relationship is that they are located in the same cemetery as my ancestors. Perhaps my ancestors knew them.

Everyone deserves to be remembered. No one should ever be forgotten.

If you have information to add to any photo site, please let me know!
If my research has helped you in any way, please drop me a note. I enjoy hearing from those I have helped (it also encourages me! :o)
