After years of working as a botanist, typist, forest botanist, and obituary writer for a newspaper I had to retire early on disability. I am very active with my high school alumni association and compile obituaries and genealogies for the newsletter and database, encompassing over 15,000 alumni and faculty. I also collect obituaries, mostly published in California since about 2002. Much of my research is going onto the Monterey County GenWeb site (over 8,000 obits for the county already entered). I am also documenting El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove, CA and will be entering photos and obits for Find-a-Grave. Unfortunately I don't live in PG so can't volunteer photos, but if your questions pertain to PG I will certainly help all I can. I have two cats, and when I have time I make quilts. I read alot of mysteries and science fiction and won't answer the phone when Survivor or the Big Bang Theory is on TV.
