Bio

I became interested in genealogy when my father passed away in 1999. I began extensive research and spent hours on researching both my side of the family as well as that of my husband's. My mother passed away in 2005. Thanks to a researcher on my husband's side of the family, I found Find A Grave. Presently, I am teaching Kindergarten/First grade at my daughter's Christian academy. I began this phase of my career after retiring from the local Small Business Development Center, after 27 years, the end of 2010. History, which I find intriguing, has always been "my thing"--so genealogy fits right in. I would be happy to hear from anyone with information where I am lacking.
