She was born in Kelso, Tennessee and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She retired from K-Mart after working as a salesperson more than 24 years. She was the widow of Kenneth Wayne Burke, Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wayne Burke, Jr. of Savannah and Jackie L. Burke of Beaufort; two daughters, Denise Burke and Sharon Kay Hartloge, both of Savannah; a sister, Martha Gehret of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; and several neices and nephews;
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
